Cube Consulting is led by Phil Thompson, a construction estimator with more than 30 years of hands-on residential building experience. Phil spent two decades running a successful Mangawhai building company before shifting into estimating full time, a move that came naturally after years of finding himself drawn to the numbers, planning and costing side of every project. His background means he understands how a home actually comes together, so his estimates reflect real construction practice rather than theory alone.
Today, Cube Consulting provides QS services for homeowners, builders and architects who want accurate, practical costing they can rely on. Phil brings the same attention to detail and straightforward approach he used on the tools into every report, helping clients make confident decisions and reducing surprises as projects progress.
